MS Amsterdam 5 * is the third cruise liner of Holland America Line, which carries the name of the capital of the Netherlands. It was built in Italy in 2000 and equipped with the newest navigation system and security system. The individual approach and high-quality service of Holland America made this cruise company one of the most popular in the world.
The decor of the ship is made in the traditional nautical style, with a combination of dark wood furniture. Most of the paintings on board are dedicated to the history of Amsterdam and the Holland America Line. Dutch heritage and traditions can be traced throughout the liner in art deco artwork. Public areas are decorated with works by contemporary artist Stefan Card.
The way to the center of the liner leads through 3 beautiful wrought-iron stairs. The center of the liner is the three-story oval Atrium (Atrium) with bars, restaurants and shops. There is also Astrolabe, which shows the constellations, planets, world time and time on board.
In the evening, live music is always played on the liner.
