14 Jun 2024
Important changes in MSC Cruises' corporate policy:
Starting from July 1, 2024 (booking date and departure date), new changes to the booking conditions will come into effect:
Children under 1 year of age: Infants under 1 year of age are allowed on board the ship for cruises of up to 10 nights. If the cruise is longer than 11 nights, the child must be 1 year old at the time of boarding.
Children under 18: must travel accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Otherwise, signed permission from the absent parent must be provided at the time of booking along with the name of the chaperone or designated person responsible for the minor.
Important: 21 years of age for guests from the US or guests departing from a US port.
Children under 18 (or 21): Minors may be accommodated in a cabin without an adult under the following conditions:
- Parents or legal guardians request that minors stay in the cabin without an adult present after signing a special disclaimer
- Parents or legal guardians and minors live in connecting cabins or in adjoining cabins (in the case of adjoining cabins, minors are not assigned a separate cabin with a balcony). For the purposes of this paragraph, "adjacent cabin" means cabins the doors of which are adjacent to each other and which belong to the same muster station and corridor. "Connecting cabins" refer to cabins that are connected by an internal door, with or without a common entrance.
- Parents or legal guardians are issued a double key to the cabin in which minors are staying
- There are at least two minors with the following ages in the cabin: the older minor is at least 12 years old, and the younger one is at least 8 years old.
