In 2026, Norwegian Cruise Line will add a brand new ship to its fleet, Norwegian Luna, which will surprise passengers with a hybrid water park and roller coaster, a digital sports complex, and many other entertainment options.
The 3,550-passenger ship will operate round-trip sailings from Miami beginning April 4, 2026. Norwegian Luna will be 10% larger than the ship's other Prima Class ships (Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva) and will be a "sister ship" to Norwegian Aqua, which is scheduled to launch next year.
The new liner will be equipped with unique attractions, including the Aqua Slidecoaster, which will be the longest and fastest water slide with a magnetic lift and two water tracks twisted three levels around the ship's smokestack. Extreme sports fans will also enjoy the "Free Fall" - a 10-story slide, which will be one of the main attractions of the liner.
Norwegian Luna offers a plethora of culinary experiences, including a new Thai restaurant, the popular Indulge food hall with plant-based options, and iconic restaurants Onda by Scarpetta and Cagney's Steakhouse.
For passengers seeking extra comfort, The Haven is a concept that includes 24-hour butler service, concierge service, access to a private terrace, an infinity pool overlooking the stern, a private lounge and a spa area with a panoramic sauna and cold room. For an even more luxurious stay, choose the three-bedroom, two-level Duplex Haven Suites with separate living and dining areas.
Following its Miami debut, Norwegian Luna will sail seven-night Caribbean cruises calling at popular ports such as Cozumel, Mexico, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and the company's private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
Tickets for Norwegian Luna are now on sale for sailings from April 18 to November 2026.
