The A-ROSA Alva was built in 2018 at the Neptun shipyard and offers passengers 63 outside staterooms. The crew is very friendly and will do everything they can to make you feel welcome on board.
The crew is very friendly and will do its best to ensure that you feel welcome on board. On the ships of A-ROSA you feel like you are in a very good hotel: The design is modern and elegant. Bright colors, large windows and a spacious living room offer a lot of space for you to relax on your vacation. The dress is smart casual, as it is convenient for you. Formal dress is not required. The guests are mostly younger than on other river cruises and sometimes even families are on board.
Almost all staterooms on the A-ROSA Alva are outside staterooms. The staterooms on deck 1 (category S and A) have small windows and are approx. 12 sqm large. On deck 2 and 3 the staterooms (category C and D) do have a large panoramic window which can be turned into a french balcony. Also on deck 3 there are suites (category F, approx. 29 sqm) which are provided with a large balcony. In the staterooms on deck 1 and 2 there are two beds which can be turned into a double bed. All staterooms are provided with a bathroom and do have a TV. On the second and third deck all staterooms also have partly a chair and a small desk. On every deck there are also two staterooms with a connecting door which can be used as a family room. The balcony suite additionally has a seating area, daylight bathroom, a large wardrobe and more included amenities such as a butler service.
The "market restaurant" offers open dining times and large buffets. This means you can eat within the flexible opening times whenever you want and with whom you want at one table. Reservations of tables do not exist. The buffet offers a varied menu with lots of fresh and local products. At some stations there is "show cooking".
On board there is a sanarium. There are also some modern fitness facilities. Furthermore, there is a cozy relaxation area for guests who like to enjoy the atmosphere between their sauna sessions. There are also two very nice rooms for massage / spa treatments with an outside view (application fee).
Furthermore, there is a Jacuzzi on the sun deck.
A-ROSA has their own bikes as well as guided cycling tours. Own bicycles are due to reasons of limited space not allowed.
